The Bubble
The S2M Dual force plates can measure independently the amount of force applied under each foot during the swing. In the backswing, we measure the difference of the amount of force being applied between each foot.

In the backswing, we measure the difference of the amount of force being applied between each foot. This is what we call the bubble! In other words, a big bubble (cf. figure 1) means the player is transferring a lot of force laterally towards his backfoot. A small bubble (cf. figure 2) or a flat bubble means the player doesn’t transfer ground reaction force laterally.

Lateral force is one of the components of total force you can create to generate some club head speed, but depending on your profile, you may need to utilize more or less of this.
