The first tool in this lecture to look at is the Scale Tool (keyboard shortcut of S). From there, I applied a darker shade of color and dragged the lower-left handle up a bit with the Free Transform tool in Perspective Distort mode. Twist is the next effect to take a quick look at. Lastly, I clicked on Copy rather than OK. Lastly, shadows don't have to be just gray or black.
